Licensed Massage Therapist

Compensation

The average earning opportunities for a 60-minute service is $40- $80 per hour DOE.(Commission is higher for longer services.)

Pay: $40.00-$60 per hour( including tips )

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Massages: Administer a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and lymphatic drainage, tailored to meet individual client needs and preferences.
• Assess Client Needs: Conduct thorough consultations to evaluate clients’ physical conditions, pain levels, and areas of concern, and develop customized treatment plans.
• Maintain Treatment Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of clients’ sessions, including treatment outcomes, progress, and any changes in their conditions.
• Ensure a Clean and Safe Environment: Adhere to health and safety regulations by maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, including the massage table, linens, and equipment.
• Promote Wellness: Advise clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend additional services or treatments as appropriate.
• Follow Protocols and Procedures: Adhere to established protocols for client care, sanitation, and safety to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Promote Spa Services: Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities, including special events and social media campaigns.
• Uphold Professional Standards: Present a professional appearance and demeanor in line with the spa’s dress code and grooming standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Arizona State Massage Therapist License
• 2+ Year of Massage Therapy Experience
• Esthetics License (Plus)

Experience

• Customer Service Experience: 2+ Years (Required)
• Work in a Salon/Spa: 2+ Years (Required)

License/Certification

• Massage Therapy License (Required)
